Simranjit Singh is the CEO of Guardant Health AMEA (GH AMEA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Guardant Health, Inc. He has more than 19 years of senior management experience in Asia Pacific working with biopharma, diagnostics, and medical device companies. He leads GH AMEA which is a global leader in precision oncology. GH AMEA’s portfolio of tests which help guide treatment decisions for patients with cancer across the cancer care continuum are available in over 40 different markets across Asia, Middle East & Africa. GH AMEA has two regional offices in Singapore and Tokyo. Prior to Guardant Health, Simranjit was the Vice President of the Medical Devices and Diagnostics Division at IQVIA where he delivered exponential revenue growth by driving business transformation and growing the clinical research, consulting and regulatory business to advance market share in Asia Pacific. Simran holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Kyosuke Kagawa is Head of Finance for Guardant Health Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA), bringing deep experience in finance leadership across global healthcare organizations. He has over 15 years of experience in healthcare and medical technology, with a strong background in finance, strategy, and business transformation. Prior to joining Guardant Health, Kyosuke spent more than a decade at Medtronic, where he held senior finance leadership roles across multiple Asia‑Pacific markets based out of Japan, Australia, Singapore and Korea. In these roles, he led finance transformation, strategic planning and complex transformation initiatives across commercially and operationally diverse environments. Kyosuke holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD.

Divya Mehta is passionate about helping patients and healthcare professionals succeed in the fight against cancer. She leads Commercial for Guardant Health AMEA with the sole mission of bringing our proprietary tests to physicians and patients in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. She is responsible for market education and physician engagement with the aim of increasing adoption of liquid biopsies in the region. Divya has a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia. She has spent over 12 years in the health sciences industry helping companies focus on strategic growth and develop patient-centric business models. She firmly believes that selecting the right cancer treatment with a simple and non-invasive blood draw is not only important for patients and physicians but critical for health systems faced with rising healthcare costs.

Mika Takaki is President and General Manager of Guardant Health Japan spearheading the business to deliver Guardant Health’s propriety innovations to realise our mission of conquering cancer with data in Japan. With over 20 years of senior management experience in oncology and haematology, Mika has held key positions at multinational companies such as Genmab Japan, Mallinckrodt Pharma, Janssen Japan, and Celgene. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Literature from Sophia University, Japan.

Serene Chin oversees the marketing and communication functions of Guardant Health AMEA. She has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry specializing in oncology, cardiology and diabetes. She is highly passionate about precision oncology and believes in positively impacting the lives of cancer patients in Asia, Middle East and Africa. In her current role, she leads strategic planning and digital marketing promotions. She is also constantly on the lookout for biopharma and biotech collaborations. Serene graduated from the National University of Singapore with a double major in Microbiology and Chemistry and holds an MBA from University of Strathclyde (Glasgow). Prior to Guardant Health, Serene has worked with GlaxoSmithKline, Philips Electronics, MSD and Sirtex Medical. Most recently, she grew the Sirtex Medical marketing department to a formidable team and developed several new markets with them.

Barry O'Connor has been living and doing research and business development in the healthcare industry in Japan since 2012. Most recently, Barry was head of sales for inbound-emerging biotech with IQVIA in Japan. In this role, he had the responsibility for forming strategic partnerships from clinical to commercial and to support biotech accelerate approval of their assets in the Japanese market. Barry graduated from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland with a degree in Chemistry, followed by a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Manchester in the UK. Before moving to Japan, he carried out postdoctoral research at University College Dublin, Ireland.
