Congratulations to Pfizer on their US FDA approval of Braftovi (encorafenib) in combination with cetuximab for previously treated metastatic colorectal cancer patients whose tumors are positive for BRAF V600E. It’s great to have a new agent to help patients with this challenging clinical scenario and highlights the need to test for actionable biomarkers at the time of disease progression.
